You can do it. The results will be kind of messed up, but that doesn't stop anybody. You have to change the whole steering gear. The grill may interfere, use an A grill. You have to use the A support that holds the steering shaft near the steering wheel. The axle pivot will be 9 inches off center. You loose your front implement mounts.

A much more satisfactory conversion would be a C wide front. The B never came with a factory wide front, so there are no mounting pads for the wide front. You need to fabricate an adapter that goes on the B steering gear housing and provides a place to mount the C axle.
