Did you get 11.5 volts while the engine was running and trying to charge the battery? You can check to see if the system is charging really easy. While the engine is running, remove the ground from the battery. If it keeps running, the generator and regulator are probably charging alright. If it dies, have the new regulator or generator tested. By the way, did you polarize the system when you replaced the generator and regulator? If not, it will actually discharge the battery. You may have to ask someone else which terminals to touch to polarize, I can't recall right off the top of my head. Good luck
