I have gotten my Harris Ferguson tractor home. With the help from this board I now know it's a 1954 TO 30. It rolls,, and I was able to tow it home with my wife at the wheel of the tractor.
I know the engine hasn't been turned over in two years. I soaked the top of the pistons with oil over nite before rolling the engine over. With a bit of starter fluid it spit and sputter a time or two. It was VERY exciting to hear the ole gal gasp.
The ignition system is in need of all new parts. The fuel tank is so full of trash that I plan to stick a water hose in the tank to get rid of a lot of the crud before I get serious about cleaning the inside.
My question tonight is manuals. I'd like to get a service manual and a parts manual. Which manuals do you recommend? I looked at the Ferguson manual list linked on this site and I'm not sure I saw what I needed.
