This tractor has quiet a few problems with hydraulics so let me start by asking what configuration of flex coupling shaft belongs on the Vickers pump mounted on the front push bar to engine crank pulley. The person that I bought this tractor from had problems with this shaft of some sort or another and was unable to describe exactly what was done with it since it had been so long since it sat in the weeds. The shaft was out and we had to scrounge for the parts on the ground. One end of the shaft has a welded coupling on it, the other is keyed and I had to drill out the set screw and weld a nut over so I could still lock in the key after getting the two apart. The third coupling is a rubber bushing splined version that goes on the pump spline. If I had a resource I would be a new version that had more cushion and vibration absorbing qualities. This one seems to be much to rigid and thats probably why the front seal of the crank leaks so bad and why the shaft sheared or had problems in the first place. Thanks for any help Robert
