Hello all, I have a question on my fordson super major 5000? It is a diesel, it has no power steering at the time. I added this tractor as one of my collection about 2 years ago. It runs well, just little stuff that you expect from a older tractor. Funny story , my 12 year old son now, when I got it he was 10, he has been a big part of tractors with me for a long time I started him on the lawn mowers and graduated him to N series, I bought this tractor and was not sure what I was going to do with it, he fell in love with it . it steers like a bear, , so he bugged me to keep it-- I told him if he could drive it and steer it we would keep it and restore,, man if that little bugger didnt get on it and drive it all around the meadow.... anyway I have been using it for firewood and pulling wood wagons and such for a while , "until I get to put her in the barn" I was wondering if there is a way to add power steering to her with out too many modifications if I have a cylinder,,and pump, unless I can use the hydro on the tractor. Ol dad likes my power steering, I guess my TN55 has already spoiled me. any help would be appreciated . I think I am adding a photo, it is black and white though, I was playing around and couldnt get it back to original color, (looks cool tho, I think)
