Shawn,I'm very interested in your 265 at $400..I really didn't want to buy a nice combine and pull the motor..What are you looking to trade for? The 265's were all made 50 plus years ago and the high price of scrap got lots of them 3-4 years ago..
I have (8) Chrysler powered combines and tractors so have been gathering up some 201's thru 250's just to have..Theres still some of them around.
In the picture with 2 engines, the closest is a 230 from a 82 Massey combine...I helped pull it and it took over 2 hours to get it out..I got it unstuck in 30 minutes..Its going in a 101 Massey tractor...The rear engine is a 250 from a water pump...Its been bored .060..
The other picture with a green head is a 242 Spitfire thats bored .040 and is free... This is a big block thats 25" long..I have a 218 bought out of a 80 Special Massey but it may not get pulled until warm weather next year..
The link shows how to identify Chrysler 6 cylinder IND engines..The IND 32,IND 33.and the IND 265 is what I'm hunting..

What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
