Rob, Thank you for some solid advice on the machine, I'm still half and half on it. Yes it would be nice to fill in some washed out roads, dig some cattle crossings, and maybe a cattle pond or basement (recreational work for the most part). I know I should probably wait until I can go out and purchase a real tractor/loader with a backhoe attachment for it, something a bit more reliable and newer. But would you think that this thing can get me money ahead on a couple of jobs? Think that maybe it's a decent deal if I buy it for $700, sink about $400 in repairs (not counting the motor) then do myself about $1500 in work I would have to otherwise contract out? Of course I would resell it after I was done. Or do you think a wiser move would be to just spend $3,500 on an older inexpensive backhoe loader, like a diesel ford or massey? This 2010 isn't going anywhere anytime soon, if I somehow find a running motor for it fairly inexsensive it might become more appealing. Until then it's just gonna sit around, I doubt anyone else local will take on the project of getting it back into working status. -Ryan

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
