When I fixed up the one for my LA # 7c I think ? All these used the same knife parts back then I think.
I was able to get a #5 knife in stock at TSC too long 8-9 foot ? but was easy to cut it off to 5 foot. Guards for a JD didn't match up so I took an old one in and some blue painted ones matched up. I think there was some issue with not being made for carraige bolts ? I used some others that worked fine. Hold downs and wear strips I got from JD weren't too bad $ at the time.
