Looking at the manual it appears that JD had a whole different idea as to how to convert a 66A to a 66H and it involved a lot more than welding on a couple brackets. Probably had something to do with leverage so one didn't have to have a cylinder off a D9 Cat to lift it. That's probably why someone left the clutch lift in tact and working. It seems you have the manual. I assume you have probably allready looked over all the parts differences and linkeage differences in the two. I would determine what all you need to do a proper conversion and call Dean in IA (or post him on here) and see ifn ya can't do it up proper for not a lot of $. If your manual doesn't have the "H" model in it let me know. I have one that does if need.
