I would say if it were me, no. It will be like a cub, slightly under powered but fun. A poorly running cub will have a hard time with hills and the Woods belly mowers mentioned. I would also think you would have to do some farmer engineering to get one to work well on an L series tractor. Why not get the Woods L59 mower for your MT? I have been looking into this myself and you can get the decks and most parts. I think a few brackets would need to be fabricated but it would still be less work and overall come out better than putting a deck on an L series IMO.
