My 2040 came with ROPS already installed when I bought it a few years ago, but I needed more room on the platform which is expandable. Two of the four bolts holding the ROPS also attach the fenders, but it was necessary to take the nuts off of all four. The hardest part was breaking them loose. I only expanded one side, because I don't have quite enough mass for the 300 ft.lb. to retorque four more of those. Butch
