Been combining oats here in south central TX with a John Deere 55 self-propelled combine. What an experience! Most everything is rusted tight, but got it to run (somewhat) with choke about half-closed. One of two separator belts is still on and powering it. Got unloading auger to work. No brakes. Full of holes and rust, but having fun anyway. Using this on about 9-10 acres of oats and about 3/4th done. Hopefully tomorrow. Wish I could post a couple of pictures, but that's beyond my abilities. kelly
