Looking for pedal tractor info

Bought a cast iron pedal tractor (John Deere Model 520) in the fall which needs to be painted and new decals....there are no dings in the body, and the tires and pedals are in very good condition. I believe it may have been made by Ertl in the 80's. I do not wish to sell, but would very much like more details about my baby. Are there any books available that give information and show pictures of various pedal tractors? Are there any pedal tractor clubs?
