John Deere 520 Pedal Tractor

I have a 520 pedal tractor that I am planning on restoring. I am wondering how to tell what series it is, I have been told that there are 3 different sets of decals for the 520. I have been told that the 520 was used on the 30, 40 and 50 series. How do I know what I have?

Also what is a restored 520 worth, not looking to sell, just curious. thanks.
