DP: When I was a youngster, we lived in one of the suburbs of Toronto. I was nuts about tractors and farming and the only exposure I got was the Royal Winter Fair and the CNE. Used to come home with bagsful of folders and brochures. Caused quite a commotion in Grade 2 with a bunch of city kids explaining the mechanics of artificial insemination with a wad of graphic pictures. Sent to the office. Only time I ever saw Mad Max (our priincipal) fall out of his chair laughing. Told by Dad to leave it at home. Well, OK. So I practiced on the neighbours cat with a sample catheter and found later he was a tomcat.(Well, I was seven). Have never heard a cat before or since make a noise like a fire siren and stay up the same tree for three days.
