That is unfortunatly the way it is, the JD diecast peddle tractors when in good shape are quite expensive, when rough, they are affordable. They are not hard to restore, just JD spray paint, and you can get parts like peddles and decals from restoration dealers. I am going to do this when we have a little boy, then some of me is in it wih the restoration, makes it a little more special. You can also check the classifieds in Toy Farmer magazine and your local flea markets/garage sales.
