We lived in Cedar Rapids from early 1961 to mid 1977 and I never went to Dyersville except passing through on our way up to Guttenberg to go ice fishing.
Moved to Florida and discovered farm toy collecting some years later. It's a long trip up there for a dang toy show, but worth it.
A buddy and I always stayed in PeoRia to visit his sister the second night out on that trip.
