To anyone: I am the original owner (pedal-er) of a 1952(?) green Oliver 88 just like the one shown above. It needs paint (has no rust) plus a small weld on the shaft which will enable the pedals to catch better on the shaft of the front sprocket. Tires are worn but rotate smoothly. Has been collecting dust inside for the past 40 years. Anybody interested in restoring/purchasing? call 402-896-1958, or write 4705 S 162nd Ave, Omaha, NE 68135.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
