Have a patron who has brought into the library where I am on staff a B. F. Avery Manufacturing pocket notepad like they use to give farmers with daily calendar and company's equipment pictured, this particular one has several pages of Avery plows. Company is listed as 'est 1829'. It is handwritten date of 1888 with handwritten daily of a farmer named Henry Elliott who listed numerous times of going to Taylor, Texas. Mr. Elliott even listed the day he lost "wife and mother" Our patron wanted to know more of the company B. F. Avery and possible value of such a notepad. It is good condition, very readable. Thank you for time and considerations to this request. Jeanette Alabama & Genealogy Collection Foley Public Library Foley, AL 36530 fpllib@hotmail.com or library@gulftel.com
