Man can I relate to Karl Childers. I was a bit of a picky eater when I was a kid. When at 17, I went into the Marine Corps; you got what you got to eat! Once I got hungry enough, anything tasted good. While in Viet Nam, I spent many a day surviving on “C” rations. One meal in particular; Ham and Lima beans aka Ham & MF’s (all you vets know what I mean) was scorned by most of the guys new to them, not me, as I knew hunger quite well by then. I wonder why you can’t buy ham & lima beans in the store as a canned meal like spaghetti? I’d buy em.
