It is called FORD Tractors by Randy Leffingwell(Lowe abs B. Hould Publishers). It is a great book.It covers just about everything.Early experiments, birth of the fordson and creating the N. He includes pictures of tractors, prototypes and production pictures I have never seen. The stories why they are called the N, why the 2 tone paint on the 8n,the relationship between Ferguson,Ford and engineers etc.It also talks about the 7N.He goes in detail how things were coming together from a log keep by the production manager. It also explains why the Aluminum was used on the first 700 to 800 9ns according to him.I only paid $7.99 for it!(190 pgs soft back).Laters..........indy
