Still won't start. Put in a new set of points and that fixed the spark problem. I replaced the plugs while I was at it - the ones in it came with the tractor as did the points. Plenty of spark at the plugs and not so much as a cough. So now it points to fuel and this friggin' battery won't take enough charge to crank more than 20-30 seconds before it has to go back on the charger. I just love old tractors - something to keep me busy....
