Spark at the plugs don't mean it will jump the gap under compression... Have you tried a adjustable spark checker to confirm theirs enuff punch to jump a large gap... Adjustable spark checkers are cheap... Weak spark will beat up the best,,, BTDT,,, lost a day last week fudgen with a Toyota that seamed to pass every spark check,,, it even jumped a fixed spark plug spark checker that I had all the faith in the world in.. Drug out my adjustable spark checker and it would only pop 10KV are less :shock:
JMOR knows I also fraught a front mount EI N for a few weeks ago,,, it had a bad coil and passed every check till I tried a adjustable spark checker... If the spark blows out it will not fire no matter what you induce...
I have come to the point if I don't hear the spark snap real good I stay with it till I do... Beat up and tired :cry:
One more thang I have got a pattern on tho its not conclusive,,, if it kicks are fires when you turn the ignition switch off its more than likely a weak coil...
