I bought a 1630 this year with transmisson problems. Because it was a Borg Warner I was under the wrong impression that parts would be easy to obtain. It is so old that Borg Warner did not even know what it was. It was used in the old Crossley Automobile and I'm told it was used in a lot of WW2 era eguipment. I've seen alot of other people looking for parts or information about their Speedex Transmission. I'm writing this to let them know where to go for help with the t92 Transmission. I found out from an old Speedex dealer. I had no luck on the internet. George Elliot (330-425-4112) who worked manufacturing Speedex Tractors in the seventies is now specializing in rebuilding t92's. He has all of the parts manufactured. I took my shifter to him and in a matter of an hour it he had renewed almost all of the parts. My tractor now shifts like it did 35 years ago. Do not negect your Speedex transmission, because without George Elliot, if it goes bad you'll have to scrape your tractor.

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
