I had a great day. My grand son walked to the mail box and back. Well the lane is 1/3 mile long. So 2/3 of a mile walk four weeks after being shot five time is pretty good. He is already looking better. He starts his physical therapy Monday at Iowa city. His Aunt ( the Vietnamese Doctor, one of the sisters) is taking him.
Also we finished planting corn today. 1280 acres between my brother, BIL, and myself. Just pulled the planters in when it started raining. We started working ground last Sunday. We already had everything fertilized and fall chiseled plowed. So hit it with the finisher and plant. My brother bought a 12 x 30 planter this last winter. So we had the 6 x 30 and the twelve both going. Worked real well. Much of my ground would not plan well with a twelve row. Too many small contours.
We will start the soybeans next week when weather permits. I don"t have any beans this year. All corn and alfalfa. I have eighty acres of hay and 280 acres of corn. Enough for me.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
