If it is a red fox, they only weigh less than 20 pounds full grown. They will not eat your cats or small dogs. a small dor or cat will chase the fox away. They eat mice, insects and bird eags or small birds if they can ketch them. We always have one litter a year around our farm. I enjoy them playing. Only concern would be Rabies but ani,al control can give you a bait fore this. If you are concerned, then call ani,al control to moce them. Do not shoot. They cause no harm
