It depends on your intended usage. If you are going to do heavy tillage I would go with the 7220. If you are going to use it for a general chore tractor then the 5250 is a little shorter wheel base. I personally like the 7220 to work on better. The 5250 is a little more compact and it is a little harder to get to things but it is a smaller tractor. It also seems that the resale of the 7220 is holding a little better than the 5250. So the 5250 is a little bit cheaper for the same hours.
