I'm over here in Michigan, but I made a whole lot better progress over the weekend than I ever dared hope I would. I got about a third of my corn in. That amounts to about three quarters of what I'm gonna pick,so most of what's left is silage corn. I was kicking myself all over the place Friday for even being in the field discing,as wet as it was,but by Saturday morning it was drying down pretty decent and I started planting. They were calling for a lot of rain Saturday night, but all it did was sprinkled. Got about half a tenth. So Sunday morning,I skipped the usual routine and started discing as soon as I got done with chores. Got everything to the field before dinner and started planting right after. By 7 o'clock,I'd hit about the third done mark. We got 3/4s of an inch overnight and more predicted for the rest of the week, and there's water standing everywhere that isn't planted yet,but if the seed doesn't rot and the ground doesn't crust,I'm a whole lot better off right now than I expected to be.
