Yep- I kind of lost interest when the cars became so covered with decals that you couldn't tell 'em apart, or even tell with color they were. And after 20 laps, they're already lapping each other, so what looks like a fierce battle for the lead is not- because one of the cars has already been lapped.
I want to go back to the old dirt track races at the local fairgrounds when I was a kid- "And the 20 car- and Tom "The Bomb" Henderson!" Ole Tom couldn't hit 200 in the back stretch, but he could sure make it fun to watch!

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
