No it's not true. They have stuff to do and what took them 2 hours when they were working because it had to be done, after retirement, takes 8 hours cause it doesn't have to be done. Most wind up sitting in the garage watching traffic go by or stay by the wife like a lapdog. Many take a part time job just to stay busy and to have a reason to get up in the morning. Some, the fortunate ones, have a time consuming hobby. Many meet at the local restuarant for coffee and to shoot the s%^t. Some will meet in the morning at McDonalds or Burgerking. Others will go to the mall for "walking" exercise. Work as long as you can...it'll give you focus in life.
