Just wondering how many tractors you all have sitting on the farm? Running or not? On the farm here we have 1 John Deere H that has carb issues, 2 John Deere b. one is being put back together, the other is stuck, a John Deere mt that is stuck, john Deere r that has transmission issues, a Mccormick Deering 10-20 that needs a carb and mag(the tractor i was searching for parts for when i came upon this great site!!),a Minneapolis Moline UTS that was just rebuilt, a 1755 Oliver diesel that is a good running tractor, a 1468 international that starts every time needed, John Deere 8630 that runs great, and the work horse of the bunch is the John Deere 4020, with a loader. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
