That should be flare instead of fare.What I meant to say was a flare fitting can crack and cause one to suck air but not leak a whole lot and it will drive you crazy.Just look for spots on the line or anywhere fuel is going into the system for wetness or even a real clean place where its greasy,as a clue to sucking air.If it has a fuel pump look for where it draws the fuel in for a loose fitting or broken flare even if it has a draw pipe in the tank Ive seen them have a crack where they are soldered or brazed into a fitting.That vibration from a diesel engine will make lines crack and its a common thing to have something like that happen and be hard to figure out where its at.It might also be about out of fuel,or have something in the fuel like water,or the filter being plugged or full of water.Even if you just put a new filter on,if it has enough water in it,it wont take long to mess up a new one either.
