I come across words I never had to write down in 70 years.Isopropyl is one, actylene is another. At 70 I started typing strange words.I have seen steal spelled for steel.Coder pins and carter pins.My wife said she knew what a cotter pin was when she used to hand cotter pins to her dad when he was working on some thing.Breaks for brakes. Most posters cant spell generator, carberator, distributor. There are several ways to spell some words.A vice is a bad habit, a vise is used to hold items.A Barstead file has another common name.My flint lock rifle has some odd names for its parts that I cant print on here.If I cant spell a word I ask my wife.My Border Collie can spell a few words. If you spell car, truck of ride or out he runs to the kitchen door. The word coarse has several spellings.Dosent matter.
