Have the baler out of the barn, and did repairs on it yesterday and today. Ran a bunch of loose hay off the barn floor through it - hand forked. Lot like work. Replaced some parts, made some adjustments on knotter that gave me fits last summer, and it baled the last ten or so pretty well. Tied OK. Maybe now I can look for tuning up the mower & rake. My mower/raking tractor is down with a broken crankshaft, so I have a bunch of work before I and use that, but I can use other tractor. Son is tearing into a 1949 Farmall C that he salvaged from grandpa's barn. Been unused for years. Thinks he can get it going, use it for hauling hay wagons. So maybe soon, weather permitting.
