About 20 miles one way to the Surprise Az.Shopping area,thats 40 miles round trip and the old Impala makes at least 3 trips a week and some times more.Hardware, HD, Lowes, Walmart, eating places, Doctors, Hospitals[2] Car dealerships etc all right near the Grand Ave.and Bell Road intersection.5 miles to the east is another large shopping area on Bell Road. Thousands of small buisness's with in a 25-30 mile range from the house.Fortunately we don't see or hear the traffic down there,although we see the lights in the sky , but it is a 20 minute drive and we are right in the middle of it. Phoenix Arizona is a large magnet for population growth just waiting to take off again.50 years from now it will be so large it will take all day to drive from east to west.
