Thank you very much for posting the pictures, very interesting to see. Looks almost as if nothing has changed other than the streets have been cleared and some of the rubble piled up. Interesting to see pictures from someone other than the media, seems they only show what they think we want to see. Of course after a few days they all leave and we don"t have a clue what is happening unless we are close by or someone like you gives us the opportunity to see it up close and personal. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
