Rusty, 6 yrs ago if you had asked me to name the toughest shredder I don't think I would have placed the SR shredders in that group. I was at a local dealer a month or so ago that is one of the major implement dealers in my area. They knew of a pecan grower that has 6 units in is orchards that do nothing but eat the dead limbs that shake out of Pecan trees on a daily basis. His Spanish hands do not haul out limbs, the shredders eat them and spit them out the back. As I said above decks and gear boxes are not the weak link. For me it is the blade bolts. When you shier of a blade bolt At full throttle that is when things get right entertaining. OBTW I told the dealer I would be interested in buying one of this fellows 6 shredders as they come of rotation and are traded in on a new one. Anyway, take care! Later, John A.
