Well, we spent all day in the ER...and then about 10 after 6 in the pm, they took her to the Progressive Care Unit. In the meantime, we learned that her tests have shown that she likely had a "mild" heart attack over the weekend. Her blood pressures were spiking in the 200/100 range this afternoon, and then tonight they mentioned that tests indicate some "mild" kidney damage possible occurred [they said that was most likely BP-related, but didn't indicate when they thought it may have occurred].
With her being diabetic, we have a lot of "pieces of the puzzle" to deal with as Sherry is diagnosed and treated. Cardiologist who came in just as visiting hours ended at 8:30pm said she could look forward to being an inpatient for the next 2-3 days.
Thanks for all your good words, thoughts, and prayers. I'll pass them along to Sherry, and I'm sure she'll appreciate them as much as I do.
