Chicago is a beautiful, interesting city. But like all, it has its rotten spots and believe me,taking a wrong turn and accidentally blundering into one of them is an unforgettable experience: narrow streets, filthy tenements on each side, surly inhabitants loitering and sauntering in the middle of the street in front of you, and behind, glaring malevolently. It was still daylight but late in the afternoon, and my .41 Mag was packed in the trunk of the car. Still get shivers.

I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
