The T&G question you have to decide on IF you are going to want to use it to haul grain for the horses or the like in that it would go thru the gaps in between the non T&G boards. And Oak was always a big NO-NO on any wagon in horse times because of the weight, it was called a horse killer and using that heavy a wood you could load a few hundred less pounds of hay to the wagon and for the tractors of up thru the mid 50's that was a big factor and with your little tractor should be as well. The plywood would be as heavy and the plys may want to seperate depending on the glue it is made of. The other wood larch I have never heard of in Ohio but unless it is a heavier wood than the oak I would go with it (Would it be something like cotton wood that was a favorite for wagon beds because of strength and light weight and if kept off the ground did not rot.) If I was only going to haul hay and no small grain or the like I would space it 3/4" apart and not plain top side to give you better footing walking on that bed for loading and unloading and use the recemonded oil.
