I work on Bobcats on occasion and have yet to see one with the muffler that wasn't in as bad a shape as yours or at least well on it's way there. Sad thing is the Mfg's nowdays are trying to pack so much stuff 'under the hood', and it's getting worse with the new emmisions crap, that everything has to be wrapped to keep the heat under control. As a result of that items, like a muffler, that have always been notorious for corrosion are now made even worse because the wrapping tends to hold water....
Oh well, make the machines last a shorter amount of time, and need more parts in that amount of time, tends to be the manufactoring trend nowdays........And people wonder what happened to the 'Good Ole American Way' of making things that lasted.........
