Four or five years ago I had just replaced all of the knives and shear bar in a NH 790 chopper. It did not have Metal alert. I had the owner fire it up. Heard a loud noise. Got to do it all over. I had left a socket extension laying on the feed rolls. Ruined all of the new parts. I went and bought a new set at my cost. Like some have said you pay for an education.
