No need to post your email in the ad. Craigslist will forward the emails to you. Now if you respond to one of those forwarded emails, the recipient now has your address, so just be careful that you don't respond to obvious scams.
Another thing you can do is to set up a temporary email address just for the purpose of your ad.
Be careful about calling phone numbers if you don't recognize the area code. A number starting with "011" is an international call. There are also some numbers that are like 900 numbers where you get charged per call. At one time, the 809 area code (British Virgin Islands) was a problem.
