Flew into Calgary on Sunday evening, drove down into Montana through the Sun Road, absolutely fantastic. Spent today in Great Falls and off to Gardiner and Yellowstone tommorow befor going across to Cody and Rapid City. Managed to order up some new piston rings for my Massey 97 from Auto Machine in Great Falls, got a real helpfull guy called Brent. Tried to get a hydrualic filter for my MF 1155 and head gasket for my JD 5020 but no luck. Might get a filter at a place near Saskatoon but the only head gasket is away up past Banff. Hope to leave Rapid City and travel up the Dakotas on our way to Manitoba. I hope to find Pete's place but wondered if there are any other tractor salvage yards on my way up there. Keep thinking you guys have a great country here and everyone friendly and helpful. Forgot to say just before we reached Great Fall we passed through a hail storm, huge pieces of frozen snow so the hire car has lots of dings on the hood and roof, dont know what the hire company will say about that!
