Those that know me on here know that JohnDeer is not something I have ever followed. Now at the favorite watering hole today this fellow says. Hey you are always buying those old tractors, I know where one is you need to check on. His description was 10 series JD sheet metal in a one row high crop. He thought it was one of about 300 ever built. Says I know it to be very rare. He did not know the model but told me where the tractor was sitting. Went buy this afternoon and looked . About 100 yards from the road growed up in weeds but definately is a highcrop like a miniture of a 4020.. Anybody got any ideas and is it rare ? Need to know before I go aproach the widow woman that owns the farm. Tractor has been sitting outside for 5 to 6 years, exaust was covred but tires looked to be fair and good sheet metal from what I could see.
