We got back Wed from a trip to Ill, Branson, KS. Here, many new potholes in the fields, tiles can"t take the water fast enough. We had 5 inches while gone. Same thru south of Hutch, Mankato area was better, So. MN had water in fields. Eastern IA had corn blown down, Ill wasn"t bad. SW Missouri didn"t have much cropland, but was dry. Eastern KS, to Hutchinson, some wheat was so short they weren"t harvesting, corn was 3 feet high and being swathed for baling. Surprised at the little bit of irrigation. KC area had nice corn. I think we went by your farm on the way home- you have a windmill east of the farmstead, next to a creek?
