I see them come to our corn cribs before dark even. If you sit out at night, try setting up a shop light right in front of you. Looking at the bright light they can’t see you in the dark behind it. They seem a little more cautious with the light, but it won’t stop them curious critters. Just be patient, don’t scratch that trigger finger too early. And if you’re being so nice as to throw them this welcome party, why not let the extended family show up ; ) Where there’s 4 or 5 there’s usually more. And don’t leave your seat if you miss any, give them 10, 20, 30 minutes, they’ll be back. Good luck and have fun!
