Yep, it"s mounted to the front of my 25-ft gooseneck trailer. I have it mounted about two feet up on the neck, making it easy for the cable to clear the back of the trailer when pulling a load. I keep a battery on the trailer, and have quick disconnect cables that I can hook to my truck for back-up power (when needed). I use my winch to load all my tractors, even running ones. I feel it"s much safer that way.
