I don't know that I would lose it over the circumstances. It would have been nice if he had called yet today but you don't know what he has going at his end. I would call back Monday but probably not the second they open to give him a chance to respond to you. If something did not happen by lunchtime I would call back and politely ask if I could speak directly to that person. If that attempt fails plus there is no explanation of the hold up then there would be grounds to be a little perturbed. But you also may want to consider from his standpoint that a vast majority of calls he gets turn out to be a waste of time. You may want to review in your mind how you conduct yourself on a business call. Maybe get a friend to listen to how you talk on a call. It may be a part of your routine to make some small talk ahead of what you have on your mind but businesses often don't want to hear that. They want you to get right to the point. Just a little advice from somebody who has been on both ends of these situations.
