Been here before on this topic. I'm a former 6.0 owner. Lost about 10 grand on trade after 2 yrs. Quick! Name one engine that cost the manufacturer 1 Billion dollars. Yup. The 6.0 cost Ford 1 Billion in warranty. Thats just on the engine-not claims on truck issues. Part of the problem was there was a very steep learning curve for the techs at the dealerships. There are folks who will say otherwise but there are also folks that will drive "their" brand even if it has square wheels. Oh, and I'm a veeeeery happy Dodge Cummins owner since 06!
